Buckeye Ice Cream

Ian - This flavor hinges on how much you like Peanut Butter. You say you like Reese's Cups? Then you'll looooove this. Unfortunetly I'm not all that all about Peanut Butter, but really you can't go too far wrong with Peanut Butter and Chocolate, as long as you have something to cut the sweetness, which the vanilla base does well. Most everyone who likes Peanut Butter will like this.

Would you order it again? Sure, If I had a Peanut Butter hankerin'...
Would you recommend it to others? Yes

Reihonna--The name "buckeye" ice cream makes a regional reference that non-ohioans will not understand. You see, the Buckeye tree is the state tree around here. The buckeye tree produces hard, useless nuts called "buckeyes" that are dark brown with a tan spot on them. Despite this potential drawback, Ohioans take this in stride. They refer to themselves as "buckeyes," the Ohio State University football team's mascot is a buckeye and, a tasty candy treat was created and called a buckeye. The candy has a peanut butter center with a chocolate outer shell that allows a spot of the peanut butter to peek out, thus making it look like the inedible nut. From this invention, came the general term "buckeye" to describe anything that has both chocolate and peanut butter. So, this is ice cream follows that idea. It is vanilla with swirls of peanut butter and chocolate along with mini buckeye candies in it. Yummy! It seemed a bit melty, unlike previous flavors we have tried, and the peanut butter in the buckeyes was sometimes too thick and peanut buttery and took over the flavor of the ice cream, but it was still tasty overall.

Order it again: Most definitely
Recommend to someone else: Yes
