Ian - Let me make myself perfectly clear, butter is salty savory spread which should be used only on milder crunchy foods like toast, corn on the cob, or broccoli. You don't experience a food of of similar texture to butter, like yogurt, and think, "you know what I would like to do, I like to blend a big chunk of butter right into this yogurt, and then just mix it up real good" Pretty gross right, you'd never shove a big stick of butter right into you Dannon. Then who in their right mind would put in ice cream? Let's be clear, this ice cream has so much butter, that it's actually salty. This is salted butter mixed right in there. Every bite, you are like, "boy, I'd love to have some water to wash down this ice cream, because it's as salty as movie theater popcorn" Now the pecans are designed to distract you from this, but they don't get you're mind far from the writing horror of the the nice sphere of Land' O Lakes that you're licking like cat.
Rating from 1 to 10: 1
Would you order it again: I would gladly choose it over nuclear waste
Would you recommend it to a friend: Not unless my friend was a cat
Reihonna-- I thought this buttery ice cream was nice and creamy. The ice cream was sweet and buttery and a little salty. It was satisfying and rich in a butterscotch type of way. The pecans were a little weird to me because they were glazed in some sort of salty glaze that made them seem wrong for the ice cream. They reminded me of those roasted and coated nuts that they sell in paper cones from little mall stands. If you like that sort of nuts, this would probably seem like a good feature, but to me it overwhelmed the nice flavor of the ice cream. Some of the nuts seemed a little stale and chewy and a few were that bitter type of nut that seems to be in a bad mood. Over all, this is a nice flavor. I think I would like it more without the nuts, but then what would they call the ice cream "Butter Ice Cream"? That sounds gross.
Would you order it again? yes, but I wish I could order it without the nuts
