Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream

Sorry we got so behind on posting! We had three flavors without reporting and now Ian won't let me have any more ice cream until I post these. (He is a stickler)

Reihonna--Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream is not what I expected. You would think it would have Cherry and Vanilla flavors, right? But it actually is just vanilla ice cream with halved maraschino cherries stirred in. Luckily, they didn't stir in a lot of the syrup, just the cherries. It was yummy and simple. You could easily make this yourself at home and try it out. Overall, I would say it was okay, but boring. Also, the vanilla didn't have much going for it. I like a nice buttery, rich vanilla flavor and this was more "white" than "vanilla."

Would you recommend: If the combination sounds appealing, but I would encourage them to go for a more interesting flavor! It isn't every day that you get to go to Handel's (unless you are Ian and I)
Order it again?: No, a waste of perfectly good calories that I could use on something else, but I would eat it if it was free.

Ian - This is good flavor, there's nothing wrong with either marishino cherries or vanilla ice cream, so they make a great team. It's just that Handels could learn from Brier's French Vanilla Bean ice cream from the grocery store, that real vanilla flavor is a good, thing and takes vanilla a long way.
