Banana Cream Pie Ice Cream

Reihonna-- Because of the success of the banana ice cream, I had high hopes that this flavor might be similar. I was imagining the same delicate banana ice cream with hunks of pie crust in it. This was not the ice cream we ate. Banana Cream Pie Ice Cream features a much sweeter version of banana ice cream with hunks of graham cracker crust and what i think is supposed to be the "cream." This "cream" looked liked Elmer's glue and tasted like marshmallow fluff. It was mixed in with the ice cream in a way that made it hard to avoid. What was worse--the fluff and ice cream were similar colors (white-ish) so it was hard to tell which flavor you were going to get. Overall, I can't think of a market for this flavor. Banana Ice Cream is a little too adult for anyone that wants extremely sweet gooey stuff in their ice cream, at least, I think so. If that is true, who orders this stuff?

Would you order it again: no, no
Would you recommend it to someone else: No. I can't think of a situation or taste palate that this ice cream could please.
Scale of 1 to 10: 2

Ian--This is a great ice cream if you liked your Domino sugar bag with touch of banana, otherwise it might be little strong for you. It was for me. I enjoyed the contrasting textures of the straight ice cream and the "crust" texture, but the cream was Elmer's glue like. Maybe that helps hold it together.

Would you order it again: as I am not 7, no

Would you recommend it to someone else: not unless they are 7, but the 7 year olds are already enjoying their Jolly Rancher Sundaes, with a side of sour gummy worms.

Scale of 1 to 10: 3
