Ian - Now this is a bit better than last visits disaster. That's because this flavor is based on a candy instead of a Land O Lakes tub. It's not really my cuppa, but it's not herb n' chives margarine either. If you like your Butterscotch candies you'll love it. The "ripple" is a scenic river of corn syrup but I guess that's okay.
Scale of 1 to 10: 4
Would you order it again? No, not a butterscotch fan
Would you recommend it to others? People can imagine it pretty well, it hinged on how cringe worthy the name makes you.
Reihonna-- This was yummy but too sweet for me to eat every time. The buttery ice cream seemed more subdued than in the butter pecan. The butterscotch ripple part was very sweet but not unlike butterscotch candies. This would be pretty yummy combined with other flavors, like a chocolate and butterscotch ripple sundae or just butterscotch and vanilla. With this ice cream in the mix there would be no need for any toppings. All the sweetness is right in the ice cream! If you love butterscotch ripple, this will please you. Personally, I think they could have made it a little less sweet and focused on the richness of butterscotch.
Scale of 1 to 10: 7
Would you order it again? Sure, in combinations like those suggested above
Recommend it? Definitely, if you are a butterscotch fan and don't mind a lot of sweetness.
We are tasting and rating ice cream! Yum!

Reihonna-Maureen sent me this link. Thank you! I truly enjoyed reading it all. I can't wait until you taste mt 2 favorites.....Chocolate Raspberry Truffle & Vanilla Carmel Truffle. Too bad you missed the Black Raspberry Chunk, it was a special flavor on one of the boards.....that was yummy too. Joni
